Vivien Lees - Consultant Plastic Surgeon


Vivien Lees is one of the senior Plastic and Hand Surgeons in the greater Manchester and Cheshire areas. Her NHS practice is at Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (Wythenshawe Hospital). In 2013 she was made Clinical Academic Professor of Plastic Surgery for her contribution to research and development of educational programmes and maintains an active research programme. Professor Lees was formerly Chair of the SAC in Plastic Surgery responsible for training in plastic surgery at UK level and acted as Examiner for the Intercollegiate Fellowship in Plastic Surgery FRCS(Plast). She is former President of British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH). Professor Lees is currently Council member and Trustee of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Her contribution to the wider NHS has been acknowledged with a Silver Clinical Excellence Award.
