APTIS DRUJ prosthesis
APTIS has developed a revolutionary device that can end the pain that thousands of people with distal radial ulna joint disorders live with every day. The DRUJ allows rotation of the Radius around the Ulna. This allows you to turn your hand palm up or down (supination/pronation). The DRUJ provides support for the Radius from the Ulna when lifting. The ulna acts as a lever in the forearm and a hinge in the elbow that allows you to bend your arm.
