Where appropriate, we are able to show you before and after photographs of patients who have had similar surgery to yourself, so that we can demonstrate the type of result that can be achieved, the nature of the scarring that will result from this and how the final result will look over time.  We can also put you in touch with previous patients who have undergone the same surgery, so that you may discuss with them, in confidence, the actual experience of surgery from a patient’s perspective and the practicalities of the recovery period, which may help you to plan the timing of your surgery to fit into your own lifestyle.
